Adam Cain is a professional musician and teacher with over 15 years of experience. In 2003, Adam graduated from the Atlanta Institute of Music, focusing his efforts on guitar studies. He also attended numerous master classes taught by some of the country's premiere musicians. These classes covered a wide range of skills and concepts including music reading, scales, chord construction, theory, ear training, performance, recording, music business, and more.
Upon graduation from AIM, Adam taught private lessons in the Atlanta area as well as group lessons and classes at local area music schools, focusing on writing and performance. He was also co-founder of a "Rock Camp" program which focuses on the development of performance abilities in students of all ages. In 2007, Adam moved to Boston, MA to continue teaching and performing. There he taught music at a local area elementary school, as well as at The Bosse School of Music and The North End Music and Performing Arts Center. There the students were encouraged to participate in group classes and recitals as they studied performance and recording for both guitar and bass. Adam moved back to Atlanta in 2009, and has served as an instructor at Ponce De Leon Music ever since.
Adam has worked as a freelance musician for almost 10 years, having performed throughout the Southeast with groups of various genres including rock, jazz, blues, funk, country, progressive rock, and more. Furthermore, Adam is currently a full-time member of the touring group, The Lefty Williams Band. The group has received attention on both a regional and national level, having performed on "Good Day Atlanta" and CNN. Adam is also currently a full-time member of the Atlanta String Duo, an instrumental group that performs flamenco and jazz music.
