Frank Clark

Frank Clark has played guitar for over 40 years and has taught at Ponce De Leon Music for the last ten. He teaches students of all ages and ability levels, using an "individual" approach with each student. Frank is proficient in both electric and acoustic styles of guitar, as well as the bass guitar. He is well-versed in multiple Blues styles from the 1920s forward, as well as Rock and Country from the 1950s through the present. Furthermore, Frank is also very familiar with Swing and Western Swing guitar styles. As a student and fan of the southern musical tradition, Frank is familiar with regional guitar styles and specializes in slide and fingerstyle techniques.

A native of Florida, Frank performed all over the Southeast in various Southern Rock and Blues outfits during the 1970s. He currently performs in the acoustic folk/bluegrass duo, "Spontaneous Cracker Eruption," a group that plays throughout the North Georgia area. Frank also co-founded and organized "High Class Bluegrass," an annual musical event that takes place in the historic Cumming landmark, the Brannon-Heard House. Frank is also an avid historian and research enthusiast, having donated countless hours to the Bell Research Center located in the Historic Cumming School House.
