Ponce De Leon Music Brings On New Trombone Instructor

 

Daniel has 45 years of playing experience, in all genres, and in many different settings, from concert halls to cruise ships. He began his career with over 13 years in both the Army and Marine Corps bands in Washington, DC. Daniel has performed with the Ray Price Band and the Delphonics, a pioneering soul group popular in the early 70’s. Currently he performs jazz in numerous organizations from the Sounds of Sawnee Swing Band, the Roswell New Horizons Jazz Ensemble and Pops bands, the Blue Notes Big Band in Tucker, GA., as well as being the director of Reflections, a big band based in Roswell. Daniel is so versatile, he can immediately switch to the Dixieland style, where he performs regularly with the Dixie Kings and the 8-Ups in Cumming, GA., as well as performing with the Marlatov Cocktails, an Atlanta based Klezmer band.
